New construction and significant structural work formed the largest category of permits issued. Kabob Construction, Inc. received six building permits for various addresses including 703 E. College St., 1110 W. Alden Ave., 1506 Hickory Rd., 4 Euclid Cir, 2309 N. Barack Obama Blvd., and 2330 N. Barack Obama Blvd. Coastal Contracting obtained three building permits for properties on 2002 Melrose Dr., 2027 LaSalle Dr., and 2804 Berkley Dr. Window World of South Georgia also secured three building permits for locations at 2313 N. Barack Obama Blvd., 3 Dawnview Cir, and 702 Pineview Dr. Further new building permits were issued to Dr. Horton, Inc. for 5019 Branch Point Dr. and 4300 Knollwood Cir. Other companies obtaining building permits included Alpha Foundations Specialists, Inc. for 700 New Hudson St., Williams Construction for 307 W. Cranford Ave., H&H Home Improvement for 406 S. Toombs, Minor Carrillo Construction for 907 Habersham Rd., Don Brotherton Properties, LLC for 109 Hamm St., Deans Pro Services for 7 Post Pointe Cir, Redesign Properties for 2305 N. Toombs St., C&H Construction, LLC for 407 W. Force (ABCD) St., and J Pierce Contractors for 119 Addy Ln. Zack Walden Homes received a building permit for 2108 Melrose Dr., an address also associated with a plumbing permit issued to Johnson Plumbing. Additionally, Sofia Peterkin received a building permit for 1803 Charlton St., alongside mechanical and plumbing permits for the same address.
Mechanical system installations and repairs were also a prominent category, with Val Service Enterprises, Inc. receiving three mechanical permits for 404 Northside Dr. C, 817 N. ACR Investments, LLC also received an electrical permit for 3953 Debbie Ln. Roofing projects were active as well, with Platinum Roofing Solutions, Inc. receiving permits for 907 S. Oak St. and 1153 N. Alden Ave., and Lakeside Plumbing for 1828 W. Hill Ave. In demolition activity, Alpha Outdoor and Clearing received two permits for 2402 Jerry Jones Dr. and 1008 River St., while TDC of Georgia, Inc. obtained a demolition permit for 108 W. Force St.
