The Vikings will be defending their home turf in what is a key game for their season and local bragging rights.

The Lowndes Vikings come into this game with an impressive 8-0 overall record. Their standing in Region 1-7A play is 2-0, a position solidified by a recent road victory over Richmond Hill. Their undefeated streak adds heightened anticipation to this Friday's event against Valdosta High School.

All tickets for the game are reserved seats and are being sold in accordance with the established Lowndes Athletic Ticket Priority system. The cost for a single ticket is $10 if purchased with cash. For those opting to use the GoFan credit option, the price per ticket will be $11.

The ticket sale process began on Monday, October 26, for specific priority groups. Touchdown Club members were given the first opportunity to purchase tickets according to their priority level, with sales commencing at 5:30 p.m. This initial sale took place during the Viking Touchdown Club meeting, which was held in Meeting Rooms 1 and 2 at the Board of Education Building on Norman Drive. Members were directed to enter these rooms through the two exterior doors that face the parking lot, where Touchdown Club officers were present to facilitate the organized purchase process based on priority levels.

Later that same evening, at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 26, season ticket holders were able to purchase additional tickets. This privilege allowed season ticket holders to acquire tickets up to the total number of reserved-seat season tickets already held in their names. These additional tickets were available for purchase at the Viking Athletic Ticket Office.

The general public gained access to tickets starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27. Tickets for the general public are also available at the Viking Athletic Ticket Office. For all in-person purchases, the Viking Athletic Ticket Office is conveniently located inside the Board of Education Building, which is situated on Norman Drive. Access to the ticket office is through the entrance on the east end of the building, directly across from the Whistle Express Car Wash, providing clear directions for those needing to purchase tickets.

Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets promptly for what promises to be a well-attended game, given the teams' rivalry and the Vikings' strong performance this season.
